Key Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy all assigned guest rooms according to established standards of cleanliness and hygiene, including making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Replenish guest room amenities and supplies, ensuring all items are neatly arranged and fully stocked.
- Clean and maintain public areas such as lobbies, corridors, elevators, and lounges to ensure they are always presentable and welcoming.
- Handle and dispose of trash and recyclables properly, adhering to all safety and environmental guidelines.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards in guest rooms or public areas promptly to the supervisor.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Respond courteously and efficiently to guest requests and inquiries, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Assist with laundry duties, including sorting, washing, folding, and distributing linens as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in housekeeping storage areas and carts.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks as scheduled or required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently, as well as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures, particularly in handling cleaning chemicals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
