Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of designated areas, ensuring the security of premises, personnel, and assets.
- Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV cameras, and promptly report any suspicious activities or incidents.
- Control access points, verify credentials, and manage visitor entry and exit procedures.
- Respond effectively to alarms, emergencies, and security breaches, following established protocols.
- Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation.
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and prevent unauthorized activities.
- Provide excellent customer service and assistance to clients, visitors, and employees.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services during critical situations.
- Operate and maintain security equipment, ensuring proper functionality.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance security skills and knowledge.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Security Officer or in a similar security role.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Excellent observational and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure and during emergencies.
- Proficiency in using security equipment and monitoring systems.
- Strong understanding of security protocols and procedures.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and perform duties for extended periods.
