Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival, processing check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
- Manage guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications, ensuring accuracy and availability.
- Answer incoming calls, respond to emails, and address guest inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Provide comprehensive information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues with professionalism and a problem-solving attitude.
- Process payments, manage cash handling, and maintain accurate billing records.
- Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area, ensuring a welcoming ambiance.
- Liaise with other hotel departments (housekeeping, maintenance, restaurant) to fulfill guest requests.
- Assist with basic administrative tasks and report generation as required.
- Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
Required Skills
- Proven customer service experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office) and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction.
- A positive attitude, professional demeanor, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Previous experience with Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera, Fidelio, or similar.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Front Desk Agent or similar role.
- Fluency in additional languages beyond English.
