Key Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders in preparing and serving beverages, including mixing drinks according to recipes and standards.
- Restock bar supplies, including spirits, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and glassware, ensuring everything is readily available.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including wiping down counters, cleaning spills, and washing glasses.
- Prepare garnishes and simple syrups, and ensure all necessary mise en place is ready before and during service.
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders, and delivering drinks when needed.
- Handle cash and process payments accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Support inventory management by assisting with stock checks and reporting low stock levels.
- Learn and adhere to all local and company health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service, anticipating guest needs and responding promptly to requests.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures of the bar, ensuring readiness for service and proper shutdown.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
