Job Description

We are seeking an visionary and results-driven Chief Digital Marketing Officer (CDMO) to join our executive leadership team at National Foods Limited. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a robust, long-term digital marketing strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives and growth ambitions.
  • Lead, mentor, and expand a high-performing digital marketing team, fostering a culture of continuous learning, creativity, and accountability.
  • Oversee all digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, content marketing, email marketing, display advertising, and mobile marketing.
  • Manage the digital marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment (ROI) across all campaigns.
  • Utilize advanced analytics and data-driven insights to track campaign performance, identify trends, and make informed strategic decisions.
  • Identify, evaluate, and integrate emerging digital technologies and platforms to maintain a competitive edge and drive innovation.
  • Enhance the company's online brand presence, reputation, and customer engagement through compelling digital storytelling and interactive experiences.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product development, IT, and traditional marketing teams to ensure integrated and cohesive brand messaging.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in digital marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or executive role.
  • Demonstrable expertise across all key digital marketing domains (SEO, SEM, Social Media, Content, Email, Analytics, CRM).
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful digital strategies that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Exceptional leadership, team management, and talent development skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and marketing attribution models.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with an ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or MBA with a specialization in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in digital marketing platforms (e.g., Google Ads, HubSpot, Meta Blueprint).
  • Prior experience within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or manufacturing sector.
  • Experience with international market expansion or managing digital campaigns across diverse geographies.
  • Familiarity with market research and consumer behavior analysis specific to African markets.
