Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive R&D strategy aligned with the company’s vision and long-term objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team of scientists, engineers, and technicians, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment.
- Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation and research to prototyping, testing, and successful implementation.
- Identify, evaluate, and integrate new technologies, methodologies, and scientific breakthroughs into our R&D pipeline.
- Manage R&D budgets, resources, and timelines efficiently, ensuring projects are delivered on scope, on time, and within budget.
- Establish and maintain strong intellectual property strategies, including patent applications and trade secret protection.
- Collaborate with other departments, including Product Management, Marketing, Operations, and Sales, to ensure seamless integration of new products/services.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and threats.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, seminars, and with key stakeholders to promote our innovation efforts.
- Implement robust quality control processes and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
