Key Responsibilities
- Assist truck driver with loading and unloading cargo safely and efficiently.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs.
- Secure loads properly using straps, tarpaulins, and other equipment to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
- Assist with navigation and route planning to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including manifests, receipts, and obtaining client signatures.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with dispatch, clients, and fellow team members.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company operational policies.
- Help maintain the cleanliness and overall good condition of the vehicle interior and exterior.
- Interact professionally and courteously with clients at delivery and pick-up points.
Required Skills
