Job Description

Career.zycto is actively seeking an enthusiastic and meticulous Entry-Level Software QA Assurance Operator to join our growing team in Nepean, Ottawa. Key Responsibilities

  • Execute manual test cases to identify software defects and inconsistencies.
  • Document, track, and retest defects using our defect tracking system.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand product features and technical requirements.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of test plans, test cases, and test data.
  • Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Provide clear and concise feedback on software quality to project teams.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA process.
  • Learn and apply new testing techniques and tools as required.
  • Ensure adherence to established QA standards and procedures.

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
