Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and deployment of various software applications and operating system updates on client workstations and servers.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of software-related issues, identifying root causes, and escalating complex problems to senior IT staff when necessary.
- Create and maintain accurate documentation of software installations, configurations, deployment procedures, and user guides.
- Provide basic technical support and guidance to end-users regarding new software features, functionalities, and best practices.
- Contribute to the testing and quality assurance of deployed software to ensure stability, compatibility, and adherence to client requirements.
- Help prepare and configure hardware and software for new employee onboarding, system migrations, or technological upgrades.
- Monitor software performance post-deployment, identify potential issues, and report any anomalies to the IT team.
- Collaborate effectively with the broader IT team to identify areas for process improvement in software deployment workflows and contribute to their implementation.
- Adhere strictly to company and client security policies, data privacy regulations, and industry best practices during all deployment activities.
Required Skills
- Strong interest in Information Technology and a genuine desire to learn about software systems and IT infrastructure.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware components and common operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS).
