Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a motorcycle for the delivery and collection of various goods and documents.
- Adhere to designated routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
- Verify contents of packages against delivery notes and obtain necessary signatures.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections, including timestamps and recipient information.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding delivery status or any issues encountered.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the motorcycle and report any maintenance needs.
- Represent the company professionally and courteously during all interactions.
Required Skills
- Valid motorcycle driving license (Carta de Condução categoria A)
- Proficiency in operating a motorcycle safely
- Excellent knowledge of Beira's road network, particularly Munhava and surrounding areas
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently
- High degree of reliability, punctuality, and responsibility
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a delivery or customer service role (even informal)
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor motorcycle troubleshooting
- Familiarity with using GPS navigation tools
- Proficiency in Portuguese (official language of Mozambique)
