Are you a visionary Video Editor with a passion for transforming raw footage into captivating narratives? In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in conceptualizing, shooting (occasionally), and editing dynamic video content across various platforms, with a strong focus on short-form social media content, explainer videos, and promotional materials. Key Responsibilities
- Edit a diverse range of video content, including marketing campaigns, educational explainer videos, testimonials, social media reels (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn), and internal communications.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, design, and content teams to understand project briefs, objectives, and target audiences, translating concepts into compelling visual stories.
- Manage the full post-production workflow, including logging footage, rough cuts, fine cuts, color grading, audio mixing, and final delivery in various formats.
- Develop and implement motion graphics, animations, and visual effects to enhance video content and maintain brand consistency.
- Source and integrate appropriate music, sound effects, and voice-overs to elevate the overall production quality.
- Stay up-to-date with current video editing trends, social media best practices, and new software/hardware technologies to continuously improve our video output.
- Oversee video asset management, ensuring all files are organized and archived efficiently.
- Provide creative input and suggestions during pre-production and concept development phases.
- Occasionally assist with video shoots on location or in-studio, including setup, lighting, and camera operation.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Video Editor, demonstrating a strong portfolio of diverse video projects, particularly in social media content and digital marketing.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of video production techniques, storytelling principles, pacing, and visual composition.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas and accept constructive feedback.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics, quality, and brand consistency.
- Proficiency in color correction and audio editing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Arts, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience with 3D animation software (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of photography and lighting techniques.
