Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and compassionate supervision for children of varying ages, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Engage children in age-appropriate educational and recreational activities, including reading, creative play, arts and crafts, and outdoor exploration.
- Assist with daily routines such as meal preparation, feeding, bathing, and naptime, adhering to family preferences and schedules.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for children, tidying up play areas and ensuring toys and materials are properly stored.
- Communicate effectively and regularly with parents/guardians about their child's day, development, and any specific needs or concerns.
- Observe and monitor children's behavior and development, reporting any unusual incidents or significant changes to parents.
- Administer basic first aid if necessary and follow emergency protocols.
- Support children with homework and learning activities as required.
- Foster a positive, nurturing, and stimulating atmosphere that encourages learning and growth.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in childcare or related field (e.g., nannying, daycare, babysitting).
- Strong understanding of child development stages and age-appropriate activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing demeanor.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to various household environments.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
