Key Responsibilities
- Assist Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals in providing direct patient care.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs, intake, and output, reporting any changes or concerns promptly.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe patient environment, ensuring patient comfort and dignity.
- Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning, utilizing proper body mechanics and equipment.
- Document patient observations, care provided, and other relevant information accurately and timely.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.
- Adhere strictly to infection control policies, safety protocols, and all relevant healthcare regulations.
- Support the emotional and psychological well-being of patients through compassionate interaction.
- Perform basic medical procedures as delegated and supervised by Registered Nurses after appropriate training.
