Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently move and park vehicles on the dealership lot or service area, ensuring proper organization and maximizing space.
- Conduct routine checks of vehicle fluid levels, tire pressure, and overall cleanliness, reporting any issues promptly.
- Assist with vehicle detailing, including washing, vacuuming, and general tidying to maintain presentation standards.
- Install license plates, floor mats, and other accessories as required.
- Ensure all vehicles are properly fueled and prepared for customer test drives or delivery.
- Safely transport vehicles between various locations, such as service bays, wash areas, or storage lots.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the vehicle lot, removing debris and ensuring a professional appearance.
- Support the sales and service teams by retrieving specific vehicles for customers or technicians.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and traffic laws while operating vehicles.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall dealership operations.
Required Skills
- Valid G Class driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles (preferred, but not mandatory).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent time management abilities.
- Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow directions and work independently as well as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a lot attendant, general labour, or customer service role.
- Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance checks.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
