Key Responsibilities
- Read and accurately interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine proper assembly procedures.
- Assemble mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and complete machines using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
- Perform meticulous quality checks on assembled units to ensure they meet all specified tolerances, dimensions, and operational standards, making precise adjustments as necessary.
- Identify and promptly report any defective parts, equipment malfunctions, or potential production issues to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, strictly adhering to all company safety protocols and operational policies.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, engineers, and supervisors to continuously optimize assembly processes and enhance overall product quality.
- Assist in the thorough testing and calibration of assembled machinery to verify operational performance and compliance.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in mechanical assembly or a similar manufacturing role.
- Exceptional ability to read and accurately interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and detailed work instructions.
- Excellent manual dexterity and superior hand-eye coordination.
- Proficiency in using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
- Strong attention to detail and a steadfast commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Basic understanding of fundamental mechanical principles and basic electrical components.
