Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute comprehensive financial audits in accordance with established auditing standards (e.g., ISA, GAAP, IFRS).
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal control systems and identify areas for improvement or potential risks.
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant regulatory frameworks, accounting principles, and company policies.
- Prepare detailed audit reports, articulating findings, recommendations, and management letters clearly and concisely.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate identified financial and operational risks.
- Liaise effectively with clients, management, and stakeholders to gather information and communicate audit results.
- Provide expert advice on financial reporting, control improvements, and compliance matters.
- Stay updated on changes in auditing standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in financial auditing and compliance.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS, GAAP) and auditing standards (ISA).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
