Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival and escort them to their tables, managing seating charts efficiently.
- Handle incoming phone calls, take reservations accurately, and manage walk-in guests professionally.
- Maintain an organized and clean host stand and entrance area.
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service flow.
- Assist guests with coat check, special requests, and general inquiries about the restaurant.
- Monitor dining room activity to determine seating and dining flow.
- Thank guests as they depart and invite them to return.
- Provide menus and general information about the restaurant, including specials and promotions.
- Manage guest waiting lists and provide accurate wait time estimates.
