Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a highly vigilant and responsible Exam Invigilator to join our dedicated team in Flic en Flac, Black River District. This crucial role involves overseeing examination sessions, ensuring strict adherence to testing protocols, and maintaining an environment conducive to fair and accurate assessment. As an Exam Invigilator, you will be instrumental in upholding the integrity of various examinations, ranging from academic qualifications to professional certifications. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare examination rooms before tests, ensuring all necessary materials (papers, stationery, etc.) are available and in order.
  • Verify candidate identities against registration lists and ensure proper seating arrangements according to guidelines.
  • Clearly read out examination instructions and rules to candidates before the start of each session.
  • Actively invigilate candidates throughout the examination, maintaining a quiet and orderly testing environment.
  • Monitor candidates for any instances of malpractice, cheating, or unauthorized communication.
  • Respond calmly and effectively to candidate queries in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Manage and resolve any disruptions or emergencies that may arise during the examination period.
  • Collect examination papers and materials accurately at the end of the session, ensuring all items are accounted for.
  • Report any incidents or irregularities observed during the examination to the designated supervisor.
  • Ensure the security and confidentiality of examination materials before, during, and after tests.
