Key Responsibilities
- Prepare samples, reagents, and solutions according to established protocols and precise specifications.
- Operate and maintain a variety of laboratory equipment, including centrifuges, pH meters, spectrophotometers, and microscopes.
- Perform routine experimental procedures under the guidance of senior scientists and technicians.
- Accurately record, manage, and report experimental data in laboratory notebooks and digital systems.
- Assist in the calibration and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment, adhering strictly to health and safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory of lab supplies and reagents, and assist with ordering and stocking as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions regarding experimental design and results.
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Support senior research staff with various tasks to facilitate ongoing projects.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Medical Technology, or a related scientific field.
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in basic laboratory techniques (e.g., pipetting, solution preparation).
