Key Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy all assigned guest rooms and public areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels according to hotel standards.
- Replenish guest room amenities, including toiletries, coffee supplies, and promotional materials.
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust furniture and fixtures thoroughly.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including showers, toilets, sinks, and mirrors.
- Handle guest requests promptly and courteously, addressing any immediate needs or concerns.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
- Manage and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring proper use and storage.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
- Assist with laundry duties, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens and towels as needed.
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role, preferably within a hotel environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently, as well as part of a team.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and prolonged standing.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and their safe usage.
