Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a company van to collect and deliver goods across designated routes in London.
- Plan and manage daily delivery schedules to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
- Conduct thorough pre-and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs promptly.
- Load and unload goods carefully, ensuring secure transportation and preventing damage.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, vehicle mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions, representing Career.zycto professionally.
- Handle delivery documentation, including proof of delivery and manifest tracking.
- Assist with warehouse duties, such as sorting and organizing packages, when required.
Required Skills
- Full UK driving license (Category B) with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Proven experience as a Van Driver in a commercial setting.
- Excellent knowledge of London's road network and traffic regulations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift and move packages safely and efficiently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
