Job Description
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Remote PMO Coordinator to join our innovative team at The Very Group. In this crucial role, you will be instrumental in supporting the successful delivery of various projects and programmes across our technology and business functions. You will contribute to maintaining project governance, standards, and reporting frameworks, ensuring consistency and efficiency within our project management office. Your ability to communicate clearly, analyse data, and meticulously track project progress will be vital in helping us achieve our strategic objectives. This role offers the flexibility of remote work, requiring a dedicated home office setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update project documentation (plans, RAID logs, status reports).
- Support Project Managers in planning, executing, and closing projects, adhering to PMO standards.
- Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes, and track action items.
- Manage and track project budgets, expenses, and forecasts, escalating discrepancies.
- Facilitate effective communication within project teams and with stakeholders.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of PMO processes, tools, and templates.
- Generate and distribute regular project status reports and dashboards.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Project Management Office (PMO) or project coordination role.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Jira, MS Project) and MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Preferred Qualifications
- Prince2 Foundation or APM Project Fundamentals Qualification.
- Experience working in an e-commerce or retail technology environment.
- Familiarity with remote collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams).
