Key Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously.
- Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
- Clear tables, wash dishes, and maintain cleanliness of dining areas and kitchen.
- Process payments and operate point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Assist with food preparation tasks, such as washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients.
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints with professionalism.
- Assist in setting up and closing down the restaurant at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Maintain inventory of dining supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing workstations.
