Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-flight safety checks of cabin equipment and ensure the cabin is prepared for boarding.
- Deliver mandatory safety briefings and demonstrate emergency procedures clearly and confidently.
- Ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of all passengers throughout the flight, from boarding to disembarkation.
- Provide exceptional in-flight service, including serving meals, beverages, and assisting with passenger requests.
- Handle unexpected situations and emergencies with professionalism, efficiency, and adherence to established protocols.
- Administer first aid and respond to medical emergencies as required, following training guidelines.
- Maintain high standards of personal presentation, grooming, and uniform at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with the flight crew and ground staff to ensure seamless operations.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and reports accurately and promptly.
- Adhere strictly to aviation regulations, company policies, and security procedures.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
- Proven experience in a customer service-oriented role (minimum 12 months).
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle challenging situations with a calm and professional demeanor.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to passenger needs.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, and willingness to be away from home for extended periods.
- A valid UK or EU passport with unrestricted right to live and work in the UK.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Ability to reach overhead lockers (typically 208cm / 6'8") without shoes.
- No visible tattoos or piercings when in uniform.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Flight Attendant or in the aviation industry.
- Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., French, German, Spanish, Mandarin).
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
