Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overarching R&D strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's long-term business objectives and market demands.
- Lead, inspire, mentor, and manage a diverse team of scientists, engineers, and researchers, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from initial concept generation and feasibility studies to prototyping, testing, and successful market launch.
- Efficiently manage the R&D budget, resources, and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on scope, on schedule, and within financial parameters.
- Identify, evaluate, and integrate new and emerging technologies, materials, and scientific advancements that can enhance our product portfolio and competitive advantage.
- Drive the generation and protection of intellectual property through strategic patent filings, trade secret management, and freedom-to-operate analyses.
- Establish and maintain robust quality control standards and regulatory compliance across all R&D activities and new product introductions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, operations, marketing, and sales departments to ensure seamless transfer of technology and successful commercialization.
- Present comprehensive R&D reports, progress updates, and strategic recommendations to senior management and executive leadership.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and global scientific developments to inform strategic decision-making and innovation roadmaps.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Research & Development or product innovation, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful R&D strategies that align with business goals.
- Strong understanding of scientific principles, engineering methodologies, and product development processes.

- Proven track record in managing complex projects, budgets, and resources effectively.
