Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets and occupancy goals.
  • Actively prospect for new business opportunities across various market segments (corporate, MICE, leisure, groups).
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Conduct site inspections and presentations for prospective clients, effectively showcasing hotel facilities and services.
  • Prepare comprehensive proposals and negotiate contracts to secure profitable business.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and challenges.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to create compelling packages and promotions.
  • Generate accurate sales forecasts and regularly report on sales performance.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the hotel and build brand awareness.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service delivery throughout the sales cycle and post-booking follow-up.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in hotel sales or a similar hospitality sales role.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the hospitality market in Ibadan and surrounding regions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional presentation and public speaking abilities.
  • Results-oriented with a strong business acumen.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
