Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card, and other payment methods according to company policies.
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service, answering questions and assisting with product location.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised checkout area.
- Accurately count and balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Assist with stocking shelves, arranging displays, and maintaining overall store appearance when needed.
- Scan items, bag purchases, and ensure correct pricing for all products.
- Resolve customer complaints or refer them to appropriate management personnel.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and security.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
