Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and feeding, under direct supervision.
- Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) accurately and report any significant changes to the nursing staff.
- Help maintain a clean, tidy, and safe patient environment, ensuring patient comfort and adherence to infection control standards.
- Assist with patient transfers, positioning, and ambulation using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families, communicating effectively and compassionately.
- Assist nurses with basic medical procedures, such as specimen collection and wound dressing, as delegated and trained.
- Document care provided and observations made in patient charts or electronic systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and requests, ensuring their needs are met efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
