Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, dressing, feeding, and mobility support.
- Monitor and record vital signs, observe patient conditions, and report any changes or concerns to senior nurses or healthcare professionals.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a comfortable and reassuring environment.
- Support patients with medication reminders as per care plans and under supervision.
- Assist with light housekeeping duties within the patient’s immediate environment to maintain cleanliness and order.
- Escort patients to appointments or activities, ensuring their safety and comfort during transit.
- Help facilitate recreational and therapeutic activities designed to promote patient engagement and well-being.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided and observations made.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety guidelines, infection control protocols, and company policies.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure seamless and coordinated patient care.
- Respect patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
- Assist with mobility and transfers using appropriate equipment and techniques.
