Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive literature reviews on urban planning best practices, policy frameworks, and emerging trends.
  • Collect, process, and analyze diverse datasets including demographic, socio-economic, and environmental information.
  • Assist in the preparation of detailed research reports, concise policy briefs, and engaging presentations for various stakeholders.
  • Support fieldwork activities, including site visits, surveys, and primary data collection within the Tecumseh/Windsor area.
  • Aid in the organization, coordination, and execution of stakeholder meetings and public consultation processes.
  • Contribute to the development and analysis of Geographic Information System (GIS) maps and spatial data.
  • Maintain accurate, organized, and accessible research records and databases.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members on various multi-disciplinary urban development projects.
  • Monitor and track relevant legislative changes, policy updates, and funding opportunities related to urban development.
