This pivotal role demands a strategic leader who will champion a culture of continuous learning and development within Career.zycto and extend innovative L&D solutions to our client portfolio. The Director of Learning & Development will be instrumental in identifying skill gaps, designing impactful training programs, and evaluating their effectiveness to ensure alignment with our strategic goals. You will build and lead a robust learning ecosystem that empowers our employees and clients to thrive in an ever-evolving professional landscape. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with Career.zycto’s overall business objectives and growth trajectory.
  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of innovative training programs, workshops, and e-learning modules for employees at all levels, from entry-level to senior management.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities across departments and for potential client-facing roles.
  • Establish metrics and evaluation methodologies to assess the effectiveness and impact of all L&D initiatives, providing regular reports to senior management.
  • Manage the L&D budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment.
  • Research and integrate best practices in learning technologies, methodologies, and adult learning principles to enhance program effectiveness and engagement.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop a potential L&D team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with HR and departmental leaders to integrate L&D programs with performance management, career pathing, and succession planning.
  • Serve as an internal consultant on learning and development, advising on talent development strategies for internal teams and potentially for external clients.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in learning and development to maintain a competitive edge.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities with a focus on inspiring and guiding talent.
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills, capable of translating vision into actionable programs.
  • Proficiency in various learning methodologies (e.g., blended learning, microlearning, experiential learning, virtual instructor-led training).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and deliver engaging and impactful training content across various platforms.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data and analytics to drive L&D decisions and evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Proven budget management and vendor negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
  • Certifications in instructional design, coaching, or talent development (e.g., ATD, SHRM-CP/SCP with L&D focus).
  • Experience with global or multi-cultural learning program deployment.
  • Proven track record in a similar leadership role within a professional services or consulting environment.
  • Experience in a start-up or rapidly scaling organization, demonstrating adaptability and initiative.
