Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic and signature cocktails, wines, and beers.
- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional, and prompt manner, taking orders and providing recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked bar area, ensuring all equipment is in excellent working order.
- Accurately handle cash and card payments, operating POS systems with efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and assist with stock rotation and cellar management.
- Adhere to all licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
- Contribute to the development of new cocktail recipes and drink menus, showcasing creativity.
- Collaborate effectively with front-of-house and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Bartender, specifically with cocktail preparation (minimum 18 months).
- Extensive knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and a comprehensive repertoire of cocktail recipes.
- Exceptional customer service and strong communication skills with a personable approach.
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain composure under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, commitment to cleanliness, and excellent organisational abilities.
- Proficiency in operating POS systems and handling financial transactions accurately.
