Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, and budget.
- Design and present compelling, tailor-made itineraries that align with client expectations and our service standards.
- Efficiently book flights, hotels, car rentals, cruises, tours, and other travel components using various booking systems and GDS platforms.
- Process payments, manage reservations, and handle all necessary documentation with precision and accuracy.
- Provide expert advice on destinations, travel restrictions, visa requirements, and cultural nuances.
- Communicate regularly with clients before, during, and after their trips to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
- Upsell and cross-sell relevant travel products and services to enhance the client's experience.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new destinations, supplier promotions, and technological advancements.
- Resolve client complaints or travel disruptions promptly and professionally, seeking optimal solutions.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Travel Agent or in a similar role within the travel industry.
- Excellent knowledge of various travel destinations, geography, and travel products.
- Proficiency in GDS (Global Distribution Systems) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo, and online booking engines.
- Strong sales and customer service skills with a client-centric approach.
- Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving aptitude and ability to handle pressure.
