Are you a highly organised and customer-focused individual with a passion for guiding users through new software deployments? Redgate Software is seeking a motivated Work from Home Implementation Coordinator to join our growing team. In this remote-first role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers have a seamless and successful experience adopting and integrating Redgate’s powerful database tools. You will act as a crucial link between our sales, support, and product teams, and our valued clients, managing the end-to-end implementation process from initial setup to user adoption.
This position requires an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent communication skills, and has a knack for technical problem-solving. While primarily working from the comfort of your home base in Chesterton, Cambridge, you will manage multiple implementation projects concurrently, provide tailored guidance, conduct virtual training sessions, and ensure all technical and non-technical aspects of deployment are handled with precision. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of software implementation projects for new and existing Redgate customers, ensuring timely and successful deployments.
- Conduct virtual kick-off meetings, gather requirements, and develop detailed implementation plans tailored to customer needs and technical environments.
- Provide expert guidance and best practices on product configuration, integration, and adoption through online demonstrations and training sessions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during the implementation phase, addressing questions, resolving issues, and escalating complex problems to relevant internal teams.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Technical Support, and Product Development teams to ensure a cohesive customer experience and gather feedback for product improvement.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including implementation guides, FAQs, and training materials.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and proactively implement solutions to keep projects on track.
- Educate customers on advanced features and functionalities to maximize their return on investment and foster long-term product usage.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in software implementation, technical project coordination, or a related customer-facing technical role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using project management software (e.g., Asana, Jira) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Basic understanding of database concepts (e.g., SQL Server, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL) and software development lifecycles.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively in a remote work environment, managing time and priorities effectively.
- Problem-solving aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues creatively and efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Experience with Redgate products or similar database DevOps tools.
- Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2 Agile) or relevant technical fields.
- Experience delivering virtual training and presentations to small and large groups.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS and their database services.
