Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily factory operations, ensuring production targets for quality and output are consistently met or exceeded.
- Implement and enforce strict quality control procedures at every stage of the manufacturing process.
- Monitor production schedules, assign tasks, and manage staff to optimize workflow and reduce downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections of products, machinery, and facilities to ensure compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
- Identify process inefficiencies and implement corrective actions, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train, mentor, and motivate production staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports, analyzing data to pinpoint areas for enhancement.
- Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments, including maintenance, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods, coordinating with procurement and dispatch as needed.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or factory setting.
- Proven track record in quality control and output optimization.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in production planning and scheduling.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Creole.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Production Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
