Air Products is seeking a dynamic and experienced Remote Corporate Trainer to join our global Learning & Development team. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver interactive virtual training programs and materials for a diverse global audience.
- Conduct thorough training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities across various departments.
- Facilitate engaging remote training sessions using a variety of virtual platforms and methodologies.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop accurate, relevant, and up-to-date training content.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, making data-driven improvements.
- Stay current with adult learning principles, instructional design best practices, and emerging virtual training technologies.
- Manage and maintain training content within the Learning Management System (LMS) and other learning platforms.
- Provide coaching and support to learners to reinforce learning and ensure application of new skills.
- Adapt training content and delivery methods to meet the needs of different cultural contexts and learning styles.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in corporate training, instructional design, or learning & development.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and delivering engaging virtual training sessions.
- Strong proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and virtual collaboration tools (e.g., MS Teams, Zoom, Webex, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Solid understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote work setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Certifications in training and development (e.g., CPTD, ATD, SHRM-CP/SCP).
- Experience working in a global, matrixed organization.
- Familiarity with the industrial gases, chemical, or manufacturing industries.
- Experience with blended learning approaches and microlearning strategies.
