Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of premises, both interior and exterior, to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, vandalism, or unauthorized access.
- Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems, responding to alerts and investigating suspicious activities promptly.
- Control access points, verifying credentials of personnel and visitors, and issuing visitor passes as per company policy.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations such as fires, medical emergencies, or security breaches, following established protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations in detailed reports.
- Operate and maintain security equipment, ensuring all systems are functioning correctly.
- Assist in the implementation of security procedures and provide guidance to staff on safety and security matters.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required.
- Ensure compliance with all company security policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Excellent observational and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to operate CCTV and access control systems
- Basic knowledge of security protocols and procedures
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making under pressure
- Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct
- Basic computer literacy for report generation
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a security role (e.g., security guard, surveillance operator)
