Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct one-on-one and group coaching sessions virtually to enhance individual and team performance, focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs) and professional development goals.
  • Develop and implement personalized coaching plans tailored to individual needs, addressing skill gaps and fostering strengths in a remote work context.
  • Provide constructive, actionable feedback and guidance on performance, behaviors, and goal attainment, utilizing data and observations.
  • Collaborate with team leaders and managers to identify coaching needs, integrate performance strategies, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Monitor, track, and analyze performance data to measure coaching effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Facilitate workshops and training modules on topics such as communication, sales techniques, customer service excellence, and time management for a remote audience.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices in coaching, performance management, and remote work methodologies to continuously refine coaching approaches.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of employee performance information and sensitive discussions.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in performance coaching, learning & development, or a related field, preferably in a remote capacity.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and empathetically.
  • Proven ability to actively listen, ask probing questions, and build rapport in a virtual environment.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess performance data, identify trends, and develop targeted coaching interventions.
  • Proficiency with virtual communication and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Slack) and learning management systems (LMS).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage a flexible schedule and a diverse caseload effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire, motivate, and empower individuals to achieve their full potential.
  • Adaptability and resilience to navigate varying performance levels and individual learning styles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Professional coaching certification (e.g., ICF ACC/PCC, CPTC, CSC).
  • Experience coaching within the insurance, financial services, or a highly regulated industry.
  • Familiarity with various performance management frameworks and methodologies.
