Key Responsibilities
- Safely and punctually transport company personnel, executives, and clients to their destinations.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
- Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the company vehicle at all times, inside and out.
- Adhere strictly to all Nigerian traffic laws, regulations, and company driving policies.
- Plan efficient routes using navigation tools to avoid traffic congestion and ensure timely arrivals.
- Keep accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and routine maintenance.
- Assist with loading and unloading of luggage or light cargo as required.
- Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality regarding all company matters.
- Report any vehicle malfunctions, accidents, or incidents promptly to management.
Required Skills
- Valid Nigerian Driver's License (Class E or G preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience in Lagos
- Extensive knowledge of Lagos road networks and alternative routes
- Proven track record of safe driving and adherence to traffic laws
- Excellent punctuality and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks (oil, water, tire pressure)
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
Preferred Qualifications
- Defensive driving certification
- Experience driving luxury or executive vehicles
- Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics for minor troubleshooting
