Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior chefs in all aspects of food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and dicing ingredients.
  • Learn and diligently practice various cooking methods such as sautéing, frying, grilling, baking, and roasting.
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
  • Strictly adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Properly receive, store, and rotate kitchen supplies and ingredients to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
  • Support inventory management by assisting with stock checks and reporting shortages.
  • Actively observe and learn from experienced culinary professionals, asking questions and seeking guidance.
  • Follow recipes and instructions accurately and efficiently to ensure consistent food quality.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, assisting colleagues when needed.
