Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify pest infestations and potential entry points in residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
- Develop and implement integrated pest management (IPM) plans tailored to specific client needs and pest issues.
- Apply pesticides and other pest control treatments safely and in accordance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including pest activity, treatment details, and product usage.
- Communicate effectively with clients, explaining findings, treatment procedures, and preventative measures.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Manage and maintain company equipment, vehicles, and inventory efficiently.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry best practices and new technologies.
- Handle emergency service calls and respond promptly to urgent pest control needs.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Pest Control Technician (minimum 2 years).
- Valid German driver's license (Class B).
- Demonstrated knowledge of pest biology, behavior, and various treatment methods.
- Ability to identify common pests and the damage they cause.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.
- High level of attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments (e.g., confined spaces, heights, outdoors in different weather conditions).
- Adherence to safety guidelines and environmental regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Schädlingsbekämpfer (Pest Control Specialist) qualification in Germany.
- Experience with specialized pest control equipment and technologies.
- Basic computer proficiency for record-keeping and scheduling.
- Familiarity with pest control regulations specific to Bremen and Germany.
- First aid certification is a plus.
