Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Director of Research & Development to lead our innovation initiatives in Plumtree, Matabeleland South Province. This pivotal role will be responsible for defining and executing the strategic direction of our R&D efforts, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and market demands. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive R&D strategy aligned with the company's long-term vision and market opportunities.

  • Oversee the entire R&D project lifecycle, from ideation and proof-of-concept to product development and commercialization.

  • Manage the R&D budget, resources, and timelines effectively to ensure projects are delivered on scope, schedule, and within budget.

  • Ensure all R&D activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and quality management systems.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in R&D leadership roles, preferably in a relevant industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully bringing new products or technologies to market.
  • Deep understanding of scientific principles, research methodologies, and product development processes.
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
