We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Director of Research & Development to lead our innovation initiatives in Plumtree, Matabeleland South Province. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive R&D strategy aligned with the company's long-term vision and market opportunities.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a multi-disciplinary team of researchers, scientists, and engineers, fostering a high-performance and innovative culture.
- Oversee the entire R&D project lifecycle, from ideation and proof-of-concept to product development and commercialization.
- Identify, evaluate, and integrate new technologies, scientific advancements, and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.
- Manage the R&D budget, resources, and timelines effectively to ensure projects are delivered on scope, schedule, and within budget.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product development, marketing, operations, and sales teams to ensure seamless transition of new products.

- Ensure all R&D activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and quality management systems.

Required Skills
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in R&D leadership roles, preferably in a relevant industry.
