Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome pediatric patients and their families upon arrival, assisting them with check-in procedures and directing them appropriately.
- Prepare examination rooms before and after patient visits, ensuring they are clean, organized, and adequately stocked with necessary medical supplies and child-friendly materials.
- Assist nurses and doctors with basic patient preparation, such as weighing children, measuring height, and taking temperature, under direct supervision.
- Maintain the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the waiting areas, play zones, and common spaces to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for all visitors.
- Comfort anxious children and provide reassurance to parents, creating a calming and supportive atmosphere within the clinic.
- Manage and organize patient records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy, and assisting with basic data entry tasks.
- Handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
- Replenish medical supplies, maintain inventory, and ensure all equipment is in proper working order, reporting any issues promptly.
- Assist with light administrative duties, including filing, photocopying, and distributing internal communications.
- Collaborate effectively with the entire clinic team, including doctors, nurses, and administrative staff, to ensure seamless patient care and operational efficiency.
- Adhere strictly to all clinic policies, safety protocols, and hygiene standards, particularly concerning infection control in a pediatric setting.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrable empathy and patience, particularly with children and their families.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Basic computer proficiency for administrative tasks.
