Key Responsibilities

  • Assist vision center staff with daily operations, including patient registration and appointment scheduling.
  • Learn and perform preliminary eye health screenings under supervision, such as visual acuity tests and auto-refraction.
  • Support patients in selecting eyewear frames and lenses, explaining basic product features and benefits.
  • Handle administrative tasks including maintaining patient records, managing inventory, and keeping the center organized.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Shadow optometrists and optical dispensers to gain deeper insights into diagnostic procedures and eyewear fitting.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sterility of examination rooms and equipment.
  • Actively participate in training sessions and continuous learning initiatives.
