Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of all office areas, meeting rooms, and common spaces.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms and kitchen areas thoroughly, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and regular restocking of supplies.
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners, ensuring proper waste segregation and disposal.
  • Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors regularly to maintain a streak-free and presentable appearance.
  • Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels in all designated areas as needed.
  • Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards observed to management promptly to ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of cleaning supplies and communicate needs for restocking well in advance.
  • Assist with ad-hoc cleaning tasks as required, especially during special events, office rearrangements, or deep cleaning schedules.
  • Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and company cleaning protocols at all times, including the proper use of PPE and cleaning agents.

Required Skills

  • Proven ability to perform various cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in all work, ensuring no area is overlooked.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
  • Good physical stamina and the ability to lift moderate weights (up to 20kg) and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively to complete duties within schedules.
  • Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and their safe usage, storage, and disposal.
  • Respect for privacy and confidentiality within the workplace, particularly when working around personal spaces.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar cleaning role, preferably within a corporate or commercial office setting.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills to understand written instructions, labels, and manage simple inventory.
  • Knowledge of standard health and safety practices and emergency procedures in an office environment.
