This pivotal full-time role involves the safe and efficient operation of various heavy machinery and processing equipment within a busy quarry environment. As a Quarry Plant Operator, you will be instrumental in the extraction, crushing, screening, and processing of raw materials, ensuring that output meets stringent quality specifications and production targets. Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy quarry machinery, including excavators, wheel loaders, crushers, screeners, and conveyors, safely and efficiently.
- Perform pre-start checks, routine inspections, and basic maintenance on plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues.
- Monitor plant operations, adjusting controls as necessary to maintain desired production rates and material quality.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations, policies, and site-specific procedures.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or incidents promptly to the site supervisor.
