Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of designated areas, ensuring all access points are secured and monitoring for suspicious activities.
- Operate and monitor CCTV systems, alarms, and other security equipment, responding promptly to alerts.
- Implement and enforce access control procedures for visitors, employees, and vehicles.
- Prepare detailed incident reports, daily logs, and other required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations, including medical emergencies, fires, and security breaches, following established protocols.
- Assist in the investigation of security incidents, gathering evidence and supporting data.
- Maintain a visible and professional presence to deter unauthorized activities and ensure a sense of security.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as necessary during incidents.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs to enhance security skills and knowledge.
- Provide excellent customer service and assistance to staff and visitors while maintaining security protocols.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a security-related role or similar field (minimum 1 year)
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
- Ability to operate CCTV and alarm monitoring systems
- Proficiency in writing clear and concise reports
- Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for record-keeping and communication

Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; additional security certifications are a plus
- Previous experience in a corporate or industrial security environment
- Knowledge of local security regulations and protocols in Abia State, Nigeria
- First Aid and CPR certification

- Valid driver's license (Class C or equivalent)
