Key Responsibilities
- Assist waitstaff with table setup, including placing cutlery, glassware, and napkins according to established standards.
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements when needed, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
- Refill water glasses, bread baskets, and other condiments promptly and courteously for diners.
- Clear tables efficiently and discreetly after guests have finished their meals, preparing them for the next seating.
- Transport soiled dishes and glassware to the dishwashing area, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the dining area, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping surfaces as required.
- Support servers by running food and beverages to tables accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and other front-of-house team members to ensure seamless service.
- Handle guest requests and inquiries with a friendly and helpful demeanor, escalating complex issues to senior staff.
