Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute video production from concept to completion for wedding events and promotional campaigns.
- Operate professional video cameras, lighting, and audio equipment effectively during shoots.
- Conduct pre-production planning, including storyboard creation, shot list development, and location scouting.
- Perform advanced video editing, colour grading, sound design, and motion graphics to produce high-quality final deliverables.
- Collaborate directly with clients to understand their vision, provide creative input, and manage feedback cycles.
- Maintain and manage all video production equipment, ensuring it is in excellent working condition.
- Adhere to project timelines and deliver finished content within agreed-upon deadlines.
- Continuously research and implement new videography and editing techniques and technologies.
- Safeguard client privacy and handle sensitive event footage with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Videographer with a strong portfolio showcasing wedding and promotional work.
- Expert proficiency in professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro).
- Solid understanding of camera operation (DSLR, mirrorless, cinema cameras), lenses, lighting, and audio recording techniques.
- Strong eye for visual composition, storytelling, and cinematic aesthetics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and subjects effectively.
- A valid UK driving license and access to reliable transportation for event travel.
- Capacity to work flexible hours, including weekends, to accommodate wedding and event schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent diploma in Film Production, Media Studies, or a related creative field.
- Experience with motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
- Knowledge of drone operation and holding a valid A2 CofC or GVC certificate for commercial drone flying.
- Complementary photography skills are a plus.
- Experience with live streaming setups and production.
