Your day will involve a variety of critical tasks, beginning with site preparation, which includes protecting client property, setting up scaffolding or ladders safely, and organizing tools and materials. You will be responsible for carefully handling and transporting various window types, frames, and glazing units, minimizing any risk of damage. Assisting lead installers will be a core part of your duties, involving precise measurements, cutting materials to size, preparing openings, and ensuring accurate alignment and fitting of windows. You will also learn about and assist with sealing, caulking, and finishing work to ensure energy efficiency and aesthetic appeal.
